KID SHOOTER Guide: Weapons, Tips and All 8 Bosses
KID SHOOTER is a free 3D run-and-gun shooter: 8 stages, 8 giant bosses, power-up weapons and 2-player co-op. Play in your browser on PC or mobile.
KID SHOOTER is a fast arcade shooter inspired by the run-and-gun games of the 80s and 90s. Two soldiers fight their way through eight stages – a military base, jungle, snow field, cave, city, factory, an aircraft carrier and the final battle – each ending with a giant boss. Pick up weapon power-ups, blow up barrels and crates, and see how far you can get on one set of lives. It plays in any modern browser, with keyboard, gamepad or touch controls.
Which hero should you choose?
- Blaze – a heavy gunner with a slower rate of fire but double damage and longer range. Great against bosses and armored targets.
- Ranger – a fast runner with a rapid-fire rifle. Lower damage per shot, but much quicker on her feet – ideal for dodging.
Stage-by-stage guide

5. City
Streets and rooftops under attack from a gunship.
6. Factory
Deep pits, drones and a walking mech.
7. Aircraft Carrier
Jets overhead, water below and a battleship boss.
8. Final Battle
Lava, drones and the final mech.
Top tips
- Shoot in eight directions – up, down and diagonally – instead of jumping into enemy fire.
- Barrels explode: lure enemies next to them and shoot the barrel.
- Shotgun is best for close groups, laser pierces through lines of enemies, rockets and grenades are best against bosses.
- Lie down (press down) to dodge bullets aimed at standing height.
- Pits and water cost a life instantly – look before you jump.
- Use continues wisely: they restart the current stage with your chosen number of lives.
